EDITORIAL AND VIDEO STORYTELLING
A multidisciplinary exploration that merges editorial language and video production to trace the activist presence of an Everyday Rebels, Simone Poncini. It unfolds as a constellation of moments, gestures, and convictions that reveal how personal choices can become acts of resistance and transformation in everyday life.

The editorial concept focuses on Simone’s relationship with language and words, and on how storytelling and memory can become powerful emotional tools for all of us. The fanzine is divided into three sections that recount his journey in activism through Simone’s own voice, featuring excerpts from conversations and interviews. This personal and almost introspective narrative is paired with a visual focus on a series of objects that may appear ordinary or insignificant, yet hold the ability to tell stories and offer a glimpse into Simone’s everyday life.
The click of the record button was only the final act in the process behind the video. It all began with a series of meetings with Simone and some informal interviews, followed by a location scouting in Bardonecchia, the creation of a storyboard, the drafting of a script, and finally two days of shooting. The resulting video completes the image of Simone outlined in the fanzine, combining his connection to the mountains with his passion for skiing. Bardonecchia provides the backdrop, a place to which the activist has a deep emotional bond. A simple, ordinary action — like a walk in the mountains — becomes a pretext for introspective reflection, allowing only Simone’s voice to guide the narrative.
